In the last few years The Squires Group has experienced phenomenal growth which has allowed us to be an active participant in the local and world communities. To expand our vision as a lifestyle company, our donations focus on improving the lifestyle of mankind through humanitarian as well as environmental charities. Our charities are carefully selected to make sure 90% of the donated amount is used for the stated goal.

Ready Willing and Working

Ready, Willing, & Working is a non-profit organization that empowers people to break the cycles of homelessness, welfare dependency, and criminal recidivism through a residential paid-work rehabilitation program. The Program offers a holistic approach and supportive services that allow participants to achieve permanent self-sufficiency. RWW's goal is to end homelessness in DC with fewer people on the streets, in the shelter systems, and returning to prison. www.rwwdc.org

 


Annapolis Sustainable Business Alliance (ASBA)

As an ASBA member, The Squires Group actively supports locally owned businesses in the Annapolis area. By purchasing locally, The Squires Group supports area farms and businesses helping to creating a strong, sustainable community. ASBA’s goals include building long-term economic empowerment and prosperity in communities through local business ownership, economic justice, cultural diversity and a healthy natural environment. South River Federation (SRF)

Working with various environmental organizations throughout the area, SRF is a non-profit organization whose mission is to restore, protect, preserve and celebrate the South River and its ecosystem. Key projects include Shoreline Restoration, Oyster Restoration, Water Quality Monitoring, and Stream Clean-ups. www.southriverfederation.net

 


Davidsonville Wildlife Sanctuary

The Davidsonville Wildlife Sanctuary is dedicated to helping animals. They specialize in rehabilitating injured or orphaned wildlife with the goal of healing and eventually releasing the animals back into the wild. Doctors Without Borders

Doctors Without Borders is an independent international medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural or man-made disasters, or exclusion from health care in nearly 60 countries. In emergencies and their aftermath, Doctors Without Borders provides essential health care, rehabilitates and runs hospitals and clinics, performs surgery, battles epidemics, carries out vaccination campaigns, operates feeding centers for malnourished children, and offers mental health care. When needed, MSF also constructs wells and dispenses clean drinking water, and provides shelter materials like blankets and plastic sheeting. www.doctorswithoutborders.org

 


Oprah’s Angel Network

Oprah’s Angel Network exists to inspire people to make a difference in the lives of others. People share common goals to improve access to education, create leaders, protect basic rights and build communities of support. Donations are used to improve schools, hurricane recovery, provide mentorship to students, purchase shoes and clothing, and so much more. oprahsangelnetwork.org

 


Uganda Girls

In an effort to further the education of girls in Uganda, we are working with local Ugandan organizations to send 20 girls to further their education. Not only do the donations benefit area women, but some of the donation was used to pay a teacher for one year.


St. Jude Research Hospital

Located in Memphis, Tennessee, St. Jude Research Hospital is one of the world's premier centers for research and treatment of catastrophic diseases in children, primarily pediatric cancers. Research efforts are directed at understanding the molecular, genetic and chemical bases of catastrophic diseases in children, identifying cures for such diseases and promoting their prevention. Research is focused specifically on cancers, acquired and inherited immunodeficiencies, infectious diseases and genetic disorders. www.stjude.org

 


Camp Letts

Camp Letts is a YMCA camp that
has been supporting the community for over 100 years. In an effort to support local children, we sponsored Modern Dance classes. Participants were taught various modern dance techniques in an effort to promote team work, physical activity, and fun. www.campletts.org

 


The SEED Foundation

As a catalyst for change in urban communities, the SEED foundation establishes public boarding schools in an effort to prepare students from underserved communities. To support the SEED Foundation we offered classes on five professional dances including: African, Folk, Native American, Indian, and Polynesian. www.seedfoundation.com

 


Anne Arundel Police Foundation

The Police Foundation has been an invaluable resource to the Police Department by supporting training as well as equipment expenses. The Anne Arundel Police Foundation encourages community involvement to ensure success and safety as a community.
