Nancy Squires : CEO

A graduate of Virginia Tech, Nancy started her career in the Information Technology industry over 18 years ago. She "fell" into the business after several years as a Legislative Aid for a Congressman on Capitol Hill. By answering an ad for a technical recruiter, Nancy started on the road to a very different career from the Executive Branch of the Government.

Through hard work, several companies and mentors later, Nancy acquired a thorough understanding of the IT consulting industry both in management, sales and recruiting. After her last position, as Director of Commercial Systems, Nancy decided to start a company that would cater to a smaller group of clients and build a boutique consulting and career placement business. In 1994, Nancy formed The Squires Group, Inc. and the Company is presently experiencing an unprecedented growth in business. Nancy provides the strategic direction, concentrates on the financial infrastructure and focuses on core systems management at The Squires Group.

Eric Galasso : President

A Magna Cum Laude graduate from the College of Journalism at the University of Maryland, Eric has over 25 years experience in the staff-augmentation and IT consulting business. Eric started his career with Temps & Company where he spent 7 years learning all facets of the business. Following Temps & Co, Eric spent another 7 years with Registry/ Renaissance, an IT consulting firm, as Vice President of Business Development leading his team to over $70M in revenue. Prior to joining The Squires Group, Eric spent two years starting up a healthcare staffing business. At The Squires Group, Eric is responsible for all aspects of operations including managing the sales, business development, and recruiting efforts, and streamlining internal processes. Eric also participates in The Squires Group's structural decisions, scope, strategic planning and forecasting efforts.

Chad Chasser : Business Development Manager

Chad joins the Squires Group as the Business Development Manager after a successful 12-year career with major software consulting companies including iGate Mastech Professional Services and Ness Global Services where he managed principal client relationships for EDS, IBM, American Express, and Ernst & Young in North America. Chad focuses on building client relationships, serving client needs and adding value through The Squires Group's service offerings. Chad has over 22 years experience in the IT staff augmentation and IT project based services business. He received a degree in Business Management from Paul Smith's College.

Patti Poole : Senior Account Manager

Patti, a graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, brings to The Squires Group 15 years of business development/account management experience. Her experience in staff augmentation includes both the IT and Engineering disciplines. Throughout her career she has been responsible
for acquiring new clients as well as increasing the company presence within current clients. Her main focus has always been on building long term business relationships .
T Rowe Price, Sylvan Prometric, Oceaneering and Becton Dickinson are just a few of the clients Patti has helped staff positions/projects for in the past. Patti lives in the Annapolis area with her husband, 2 kids and her apple faced- traditional- seal point Siamese cat, Coco.

Jane Myers : Director of Resource Management

As a Baltimore native and graduate from the University of Baltimore, Jane brings a depth of knowledge with her 26 plus years in the recruiting field. She spent about 7 of the years focused on IT and ERP projects for other large consulting services firms in the Baltimore area. Jane has successfully built strong teams throughout the Baltimore market and looks forward to continuing her successes with The Squires Group team. Jane is spearheading our expansion into the Baltimore market to leverage our industry reach. Her passion is to successfully help The Squires Group's clients find the talent they need while also helping our consultants' advance their careers.

Rich Dobyns: Senior Resource Manager

Rich started his career as a Technical Recruiter in the aerospace/defense staffing business.  He is a graduate of Northern Virginia CC, and has over 30 years experience in staff augmentation, contingency/retained search, and talent acquisition.  In the 90’s, Rich was an IT search consultant that lead a team, and built a practice by successfully aligning high performers with great companies.  He applied his knowledge and experience to the corporate world in the late 1990’s; providing talent thought leadership, mentoring, and recruiting best practices to DC area firms.  In the last 7 years, Rich worked in the office of the CIO at Marriott International, helped launch a retained search division for global staffing firm Robert Half International, and helped build capability at Booz Allen Hamilton as a Consultant on their Executive Recruiting team.  His goal is to leverage this experience to provide excellence to The Squires Group team, clients, and consultants.

Mary Ann McClayton : Resource Manager

Mary Ann, a Baltimore native, brings over 20 years of recruiting, business development and sales experience to The Squires Group. At her previous position with Accountants International Mary Ann ranked as a top producer, consistently exceeding monthly goals while developing and maintaining relationships with a number of Fortune 500 and premier companies in the Baltimore Metro Area. Outside of work Mary Ann enjoys spending time with her family (two kids and five grandchildren), vacationing in Bethany Beach, DE., playing tennis and skiing.

Chris Eberhardt : Resource Manager

Chris Eberhardt brings over 17 years of IT, telecommunication and logistics recruiting experience to The Squires Group. Graduate of Salisbury State University and native Maryland resident, Chris has developed a successful recruiting career in his home town. In his previous IT recruiting career, Chris managed IT staff augmentation projects for Verizon, AT & T Wireless, MCI, as well as local Telecommunication infrastructure projects. Utilizing his expertise and training in the recruiting process, Chris is well armed to support all IT and ERP recruiting needs.

Carla Massarini : Resource Manager

Carla has 15 years of expertise in the recruitment field. Her previous recruiting position was with TCS where she focused on both technical and professional recruitment for a variety of projects in the Mid-Atlantic region.

Carla is a perfect example of how The Squires Group network works! She was initially referred to us over 6 years ago by a friend of The Squires Group, but the position and timing did not work for everyone. Today she is back and joins us with an additional breadth of IT industry knowledge and is ready to contribute to our continued success. Carla is definitely looking forward to helping our current and new Squires Group associates advance in their careers.

Paul Noble : Resource Manager

Paul has 8 years of high level IT Recruitment experience working with multiple Fortune 500 companies both in the DC Area and Nationwide. He was born and raised in Wales, UK and started his career working for The British Government before going on to spend several successful years with Richard Branson's Virgin Group. He moved to the US in 2002 and lives in Ashburn, VA with his lovely wife.

Lara Joy : Resource Manager

An Annapolis native, and McDaniel College Alum, Lara joins The Squires Group with over six years of recruiting experience. Previously with Ingenium Corporation as a Corporate Recruiter/HR Specialist and FSO, Lara continues using her network to make successful placements. Lara's full life cycle recruiting experience and ability to match skilled professionals through relationship development makes her an essential part of The Squires Group Team.

Lara and her husband currently reside in Arnold, MD and enjoy spending their free time entertaining family and friends, traveling and trying new restaurants!

Mike Conk : Federal Programs Manager

Mike Conk comes to The Squires Group with 45 years program/project management experience in the definition, design, development, and implementation of information technology solutions for the Federal Government. With a Master of Arts Degree in Business Management from the University of Northern Colorado, Mike is a certified Project Management Professional. He is responsible for overseeing TSGi's Federal programs and is actively engaged with key clients. Mike also assists the Marketing and Sales teams with proposal efforts.

Apurva Shah : Director of Marketing and Operations

An engineer and a MBA from Bombay University, Apurva has specialized in developing and implementing marketing strategies in the B2B environment for the last 16 years. Apurva's responsibility at The Squires Group includes identifying new clients, increasing awareness, developing collateral to highlight The Squires Group's strengths and competitive advantages, and assisting in operational aspects of managing the consultant team.

Mike Parker : Controller

Mike joins The Squires Group with 25 years of financial management, strategic planning, cost analysis and accounting experience - not to mention 13 years of government contracting experience. Mike has an MBA in Finance from Johns Hopkins University and a B.S. in Economics from the University of Maryland. He's local to the Annapolis area, a passionate water skier and enjoys riding his bike.

Christine Martein : Human Resource and Payroll Specialist

Christine is a certified human resources professional with more than 15 years of experience. She has actively contributed to various organizations' areas of HR, including federal and state compliance, compensation, benefits, recruiting, company policy and employee relations. A Maryland native, currently attending the University of Maryland, Christine offers expertise in all the general areas of HR at TSGi while preserving the current TSGi culture.

Shannon Christ : Accounting Specialist

Shannon brings to the Squires Group over 10 plus years of office administration. Shannon's experience includes: accounts payable, receivable, payroll, employee safety and HR duties. Prior to joining The Squires Group Shannon worked as the office manager and executive assistant to the Vice President of a national manufacturing company. Ms. Christ also gained sales and marketing experience while working for the global leader in outdoor advertising. Shannon has a strong computer background not only with Microsoft office but also with various accounting and specialty software programs. Shannon will be working directly with Mike and Sandi in processing billing, invoicing, and other accounting functions. A licensed horseback riding instructor, Shannon resides in Calvert County, MD with her husband, two sons (Noah and Luke), two dogs, two cats, and one horse.

Sheila Montgomery : Senior Contracts Specialist

Sheila is a Maryland native and brings 25+ years of office administration experience to The Squires Group. She has a strong background in the legal field as well as office administration/management and accounting/finance. Sheila's primary focus is contract administration related to our subcontractors as well as supporting Apurva Shah with day-to-day operations and processes/procedures for the office. Sheila resides in Howard County, Maryland.

Sandi Rewers : Administrative Assistant

Sandi has over 30 years of office administration experience. Sandi is one of the friendly voices you hear when you call into the office. As part of the infrastructure team, she manages timesheet submissions and supports Sheila in the day-to-day operations of the office. She lives in the Baltimore area with her husband, 4 children, and a dog.

Brenda Cherry : Recruiting/Marketing Assistant

Brenda has joined the Squires Group as our Recruiting/Marketing Assistant after four years as a Loan Office/Operations Manager of a local mortgage company. Prior to that Brenda was a technical recruiter for six years with a consulting group. Brenda's focus is on supporting our Resource Managers in all aspects of their efforts to meet our clients' needs.

Donna Hill : Recruiting/Marketing Assistant

Donna joins The Squires Group with over ten years of experience as a Data Analyst. Donna worked for a few  local government contractor and was responsible for providing Information Engineering support in the areas of data administration, data standardization, and data modeling for large shared databases.  After six years of living in Boston and taking time to raise her son, Donna is back in the Northern Virginia area. Donna’s responsibilities at TSGi include contacting candidate references and supporting the resource managers as well as the marketing team.

Amy Ladd : FSO and Executive Assistant to the CEO

Amy brings over 14 years experience as an Executive/Personal Assistant working for companies like Legal Sea Foods, Frito Lay and Arnold Worldwide. She is responsible for assisting Nancy with whatever comes her way. Amy is a graduate of Salisbury University and is originally from Medford, New Jersey. After 10 years in Boston and a year stint in Michigan, Amy is happy to have her feet firmly planted in the Mid Atlantic region. Amy, her husband Greg, and their little girl Olivia live in Annapolis with their two Boston Terriers.

Joanne Furton : Executive Assistant to the CEO

After graduating from the University of Maryland, Joanne worked for Martin Marietta and completed the Manufacturing Development program which encompassed all phases of manufacturing within the Division.  From there she moved to Northrop Grumman as an Industrial Engineer and worked in the Manufacturing and Software Services Division, developing a commercial material procurement strategy.  She had the lead responsibility for developing material and labor quotes for new business proposals.  Joanne joins the Squires group after taking time off to raise her children.  Her role is to assist Nancy in a wide variety of activities.  Joanne is a native Maryland resident and currently resides in Millersville with her husband and 3 children.

Cathy Dove : Administrative Assistant

Cathy comes to The Squires Group with over 20 years of administrative office experience. She's one of the cheery voices you'll hear when calling the office. She is our "Girl Friday", supporting all departments wherever and whenever they need help to make sure the office runs smoothly. An avid sports fan, Cathy lives in Pasadena with her husband, son, and 2 dogs.
