Consultant of the Quarter (Q4 2017)

Francois MertzIt is our pleasure to announce that Francois Mertz has been named The Squires Group “Consultant of the Quarter” for his outstanding work supporting several Federal clients.

Francois joined us in 1998 assisting a large satellite communications firm with their Oracle Financials implementation. That is the project where he developed his strong foundation as a technical Oracle Financial EBS expert. Then in 2004, he switched to one of our Oracle Financials projects with a federal healthcare agency. Francois was one of the early TSGi consultants, primarily involved in implementation and roll-out of a multi-org Oracle Federal Financials project. He then transitioned to the production support for the project, right after go-live. In this high pressure and high visibility role, Francois was able to rise to the challenge and assist in bringing the project from its initial two-state deployment to include the entire country. On the same project, Francois was later able to contribute to the design and implementation of the overall batch processing, sequencing thousands of individual jobs in concurrent threads of execution with the Autosys product.

Since 2015, Francois has transitioned to supporting the Department of Homeland Security Oracle Federal implementation project across three of their large agencies. Francois has developed a number of extensions to support key business processes, like intra-agency funds transfer and import, and application of receipts. Francois also played a key role in the management of the source control system as well as the automation of the deployment of all the development RICEW artifacts.

“Thank you for helping up bring this project to a complete and successful delivery,” Francois’ Project Manager said, “Any project will be happy to have you.”

Congratulations to Francois for his dedication, hard work, and professionalism!
