We are excited to share that we have added three new members to our infrastructure team. Please welcome Tarry Lalonde, Rick Rodgers and Mark Lloyd!

Tarry-smTarry Lalonde
Program Manager

Tarry joins us as a Program Manager and is responsible for overseeing select projects, and broadening our base of business within the Mid-Atlantic region. Tarry brings a vast knowledge of ERP/IT implementations in both the Federal and Commercial industries to The Squires Group. He has successfully led five major SAP ERP Federal implementations at five different agencies.

He started in IT over 20 years ago as an SAP Plant and Service Maintenance Consultant. He quickly evolved into a leading ERP Implementation Program and Project Manager that set Industry standards for on-time implementations with high quality standards and cost controls. His 40+ years in the Navy, the Chemical Industry and the IT Industry gives a breadth of knowledge and experience that he enjoys sharing with his clients and his coworkers at The Squires Group.

Tarry graduated from the US Naval Academy and has enjoyed a long career in the Federal and Commercial IT/Chemical businesses. His career began at FMC after active duty services as a Naval Officer and from there he moved on to managing large programs at Federal agencies which included: CBP, NASA, Army Environmental Services, DOI and USDA.

He now lives in Gainesville VA and enjoys spending time with his wife and grandchildren and getting a few rounds in on the golf course.

Fun Facts about Tarry:

How I let my hair down – Playing with my three year old grandson, and getting frustrated on the golf course with friends.
My second favorite things to do (after recruiting!): Traveling with my wife, going to the RIVER with family, playing golf and fishing. Wait, that is too many second favorite things!

Rick-Rodgers-smRick Rodgers
Resource Manager

Rick Rodgers joins The Squires Group with 20+ years of staffing industry experience. For the first 17 years of his career, Rick worked in Operations for a multi-billion dollar staffing company. During that time he also took on the responsibility as Controller for the firm. Rick then took his skills as a Controller and made his next career move to a smaller staffing firm. Shortly after joining them, he was looking for a new career challenge. So he made the leap into IT recruiting for a few years before settling into his long-term role of recruiting for Accounting and Finance talent.

Rick is a people person and found that he really enjoyed connecting with candidates people in his recruiting role. He finds it very rewarding when he helps a candidate successfully find their new job or project, which helps them with their career, personal and financial growth. Rick’s vast experience in Operations and as a Controller gives him a unique understanding of our clients’ Accounting and Finance needs allowing him to zero in on the perfect candidate. Rick will be supporting our very own Berry Sprague in further growing our Accounting and Finance practice.

Rick lives in Anne Arundel County and is a University of Baltimore graduate. He loves spending time with his family and visiting the beach–and for the record, any beach will do!

Fun Facts about Rick:

If I was trapped on a desert island I’d eat nothing but: Cheeseburgers and pizza — if these essential foods were not found on the island, I would probably starve!
My guilty pleasure is: Watching Ravens pull out last minute victories.

Mark-Lloyd-smMark Lloyd
Resource Manager

Mark joins The Squires Group as a Resource Manager after a brief hiatus from recruiting, where he was instrumental in shaping young minds as a Career Counselor with Loyola University Maryland. Mark brings 5 years of technical recruiting experience to our team and lives for defying the stereotypes within the industry. He is singularly focused on building relationships with his candidates and specializes in the following fields: network/systems engineering, cybersecurity, UI/UX design and development, testing and quality assurance, and more. Mark is a graduate of the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill and is also a veteran officer of the United States Navy.

Fun Facts about Mark:

My guilty pleasure is: I’m a sucker for a fun night of karaoke…and I usually take it WAY too seriously.
How I let my hair down: You may find me working off steam playing competitive volleyball or relaxing with a pint of ice cream and a bad horror movie.
Quote to live by: “Every man is an advocate”…spoken to me by my first Commanding Officer in the Navy–meaning every person has a responsibility to stand up and speak out if they see something wrong. Don’t accept the status quo just because that’s the way it’s BEEN done…make it BETTER.
