Please join us in congratulating Gopal B, our 2022 Q1 “Consultant of the Quarter,” for his outstanding contributions in the implementation of Oracle Federal Financials for one of the biggest shared service providers in the DC region.
Gopal has been a key Oracle EBS technical expert with The Squires Group for more than ten years. Gopal has been leading, problem solving, and guiding other senior Oracle Federal financial team members to successful implementations year after year. In fact, his efforts have helped bring around 25 defense agencies into this shared services program. Since Gopal started on the on the program from its inception, he possesses in-depth knowledge of both the functionality and technology stack. When the need arises, he rolls up his sleeves and writes complex programs. A few years ago, he wrote a complex shell script program that converted around 40,000 user created reports from one set of Noetix views to an improved set of Noetix views!
Most critically, his role in simplifying conversion activities has eased data conversion to on-boarding agencies. Gopal has also guided SOA experts to implement advanced architectures to handle one SOA server to point to multiple Oracle EBS environments. This resulted in the need for less server hardware while delivering considerable cost reductions to the Government.
Gopal’s managers have consistently shared with us that Gopal takes immense pride in his delivery excellence and that his efforts inspire the team. His consistent delivery has been remarkable, and he has represented The Squires Group exceptionally well. It is not surprising then, that his work on the program has been celebrated multiple times by our prime integration partner as well as their government counterparts with several awards and special recognitions.
