Please join us in congratulating Ed B., our 2022 Q3 “Consultant of the Quarter,” for his dedication, hard work, and outstanding contributions in supporting one of our longest running federal projects. Ed has over 30 years of IT experience and has been one of the key contributors on this mission critical program since 2008!
Ed began his career as a COBOL programmer for a telecommunications company. Over the last 20 years, he’s served as a technical consultant supporting federal agencies on several mission critical projects. Today, he’s a member of a technical infrastructure team supporting ERP applications—and has performed a multitude of tasks beginning as an ERP developer, data warehouse developer, and a Windows, Unix, and Linux system administrator. Currently, when one of the Oracle DBAs moved on, Ed stepped into his role to ensure that all critical DBA tasks never missed a beat!
Working on complex federal systems poses unique challenges that require innovative technical solutions. Ed has always been willing to address these problems and deliver resolutions to support project success. Additionally, he continues to share his deep systems knowledge with his teammates, as well as lend a hand to them when needed. Over the years, his all-in attitude has led to many recognitions and accolades from both his managers and teammates.
On the personal side, Ed loves to go on 30-mile bike rides around Carroll County or travel to his beach house in North Carolina to relax. He also enjoys spending time with his family, loves his corgis, and is an avid Ravens—and Liverpool fan!
So, congratulations Ed, and thank you for your commitment to overcome the myriad of technical challenges while continuously helping your teammates to Build Great℠ for our federal client!
