Fully Cleared Java Application Developer – Annapolis Junction, MD

The Squires Group is currently seeking Java application developers with active TS/SCI with FS Poly clearances. This government contract role is part of an Agile environment and involves contributing to an entire technology stack, including Java, CORE UI with REACT, Camunda, UI/UX, Test Automation, and DevOps. Selected candidates will analyze user requirements, design and code new software solutions, modify existing software, facilitate integrations, create process standards, implement algorithms, and much more.

The hiring company is looking for both mid-level and senior-level Java application developers. A Bachelor’s degree or higher is required. Professionals with a minimum of three years of Java development experience are eligible for the mid-level opportunity, while having four or more years of experience could qualify you for a senior-level position. Several shifts are available, providing new hires with more flexibility.

Mid-Level Java Developer – Annapolis Junction, MD

This mid-level Java developer position is a multi-year contract supporting a U.S. Homeland Security program. Strong candidates have a Bachelor’s degree or higher, as well as four years or more of Java development experience. Past use of J2EE or other Java frameworks and Java development tools like JUnit and Eclipse is required. Experience with web development technologies, Linux/Unix shell scripting, and Agile are also a must.

The role is hybrid, providing you with a greater work-life balance. The project aims to make flying safer by enhancing passenger screening, and you’ll be a part of an Agile team while designing and developing Java code for a national security system. Java Developer – San Antonio, TX

A federal program based in San Antonio, TX, has an ongoing need for Java developers. While on-site candidates are preferred, this position does have a remote work option. Selected candidates will design, build, and configure applications, and requires a minimum of two years of experience with Java Enterprise Edition, issue management, and release management to be considered. Applicants must also be U.S. citizens in order to meet the background requirements.

Remote Senior-Level Java / NLP Developer – Woodlawn, MD

For experienced Java developers looking for a fully remote position, this senior-level Java / NLP developer position could be an excellent fit. The role requires skills to handle development and engineering projects from end-to-end, including everything from the backend code to providing a solid user experience.

Suitable candidates are U.S. citizens with a minimum of a Master’s degree, along with ten or more years of professional experience. Experience with machine learning and natural language processing is also critical.
