We are excited to share that we have a new addition to our infrastructure team. Rick Rodgers joins our Resource Management team and will be focussed on furthering the success of our Accounting & Finance practice.

Rick Rodgers joins The Squires Group with 20+ years of staffing industry experience. For the first 17 years of his career, Rick worked in Operations for a multi-billion dollar staffing company. During that time he also took on the responsibility as Controller for the firm. Rick then took his skills as a Controller and made his next career move to a smaller staffing firm. Shortly after joining them, he was looking for a new career challenge. So he made the leap into IT recruiting for a few years before settling into his long-term role of recruiting for Accounting and Finance talent.
Rick is a people person and found that he really enjoyed connecting with candidates people in his recruiting role. He finds it very rewarding when he helps a candidate successfully find their new job or project, which helps them with their career, personal and financial growth. Rick’s vast experience in Operations and as a Controller gives him a unique understanding of our clients’ Accounting and Finance needs allowing him to zero in on the perfect candidate. Rick will be supporting our very own Berry Sprague in further growing our Accounting and Finance practice.
Rick lives in Anne Arundel County and is a University of Baltimore graduate. He loves spending time with his family and visiting the beach–and for the record, any beach will do!

If I was trapped on a desert island I’d eat nothing but: Cheeseburgers and pizza — if these essential foods were not found on the island, I would probably starve!
My guilty pleasure is: Watching Ravens pull out last minute victories.
