Lara Joy supports The Zero Prostate Cancer Run/ Walk in Baltimore

ZeroFor the third year, Lara Joy (Senior Resource Manager at TSGi) has led a team “For Our Heroes” for the ZERO – The End of Prostate Cancer Run/Walk in Towson, MD. On Sunday, September 20, 2015, Lara and her team ran/walked/snoozed for dudes at Towson University to support the battle against Prostate Cancer!

The Zero Prostate Cancer Run/Walk in Baltimore has been part of the event series for nine years. With the hard work of Chesapeake Urology Associates and ZERO, the ZERO Prostate Cancer Run/Walk – Baltimore grew to include more than 4,000 participants this year! This year’s event has raised over $475,000 so far. These donations will help continue funding much needed early detection programs and advance research funding.

There is still time to support the cause and the team, please visit the “For Our Heroes” team page at: For Our Heroes

One in seven American men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in his lifetime. That’s one in seven fathers, sons, husbands, brothers, partners and friends. No one wants the men in their lives to be faced with the disease. You can be part of saving lives and keeping families together. All dollars raised are split 50/50 between our local community and national efforts to fund research, testing, and education for men and their families.

Thank you for supporting the cause Lara!
