When our client reached out to us, they had an urgent need for a Staff Accountant to maintain GL records, report taxes and reconcile corporate expense reports. The ideal candidate would be able to work independently, be proactive and provide great attention to detail. The current Staff Accountant responsible for corporate expense reports was not deadline driven and, while the reporting portion of the position should not have taken more than 20% of their time, it was monopolizing their focus. A critical part of this search was to conduct it confidentially so the company could maintain coverage while the right candidate was identified.
