We delivered a proven team of Oracle experts to help develop Oracle’s highest volume transaction system in the world. This project team is comprised of both senior functional and technical resources with expertise in Oracle Federal Financials—all delivered locally from the Mid-Atlantic region which helped the client reduce travel costs associated with a large consulting team. At its peak, we had over 30 consultants that were participating in all aspects of the functional and technical solution.
As part of the transition to a SAAS model, our client was looking to add a strong Change Management and Training expert to roll out the full functionality and assist the user base to transition from PeopleSoft to Workday HCM. After the Workday functionality was configured, our client needed a Workday change management and training expert that would help them with the creation of instructional design (using UPerform) and would conduct computer based training in classroom training sessions. TSGi was able to rapidly deliver a local training expert who had over a decade of PeopleSoft HCM training experience particularly in the areas of training analysis, design, development and delivery services.
A Higher Education University was in the process of upgrading its PeopleSoft Human Capital Management (HCM) and Financials from version 8.9 to 9.1 in order to better support their core systems operations. TSGi was tasked with identifying an experienced consultant that would work in a key support role on the Contracts and Grants module upgrade.TSGi identified the right consultant with 14 years’ experience as a Functional PeopleSoft expert and with specific knowledge in the Contracts and Grants modules. Our consultant brought experience leading teams on several 9.1 upgrade projects.
Our client’s program is part of an overall effort to share critical business and mission-relation information with key audiences including: federal, state, and local law enforcement, foreign partners, intelligence, defense, homeland security and the private sector. This project was the culmination of a federal civilian agency’s effort to institute an enterprise-wide supply chain management system. The project consisted of five main modules: Requisitioning, Procurement, Asset Management, Warehouse Operations, and Transportation. All modules featured extensive integration with the agency’s financial management systems and incorporated embedded status tracking information.

Our client was implementing PeopleSoft HR 8.8 Ben Admin, Base Benefits, Open Enrolment, Payroll, Payroll Interface, Security, and PS Portal to support its large media conglomerate. They were in need of professionals that could keep up with the hectic pace of the day-to-day operations of their media conglomerate and its worldwide subsidiaries. Once we staffed the right team, our consultants were actively involved in the implementation and production support of PeopleSoft HCM 8.8.
The Squires Group was brought onto this project to support our client’s recent upgrade of their PeopleSoft HCM system to 8.9. At the time, they were using version 8.0 and the cost of continuing support was becoming substantial. The upgrade was a predominantly “technical upgrade” with limited new functionality in order to ensure that the process ran smoothly and was implemented on time. The Squires Group was selected as a reliable partner to ensure operations went smoothly during and after the upgrade.
Once the system was upgraded, it received tax updates on a regular basis. These timely tax updates helped the payroll system for 70,000 employees/contractors run efficiently. Our efforts also resulted in the development of a custom Leave Accrual module to meet the new legislation requirements in San Francisco.
This overseas project was designed to improve the client’s current systems and infrastructure by implementing PeopleSoft HCM 8.9 and Financials 8.8 to support multiple locations. Development environment included PeopleSoft 8.3 HCM, PeopleTools, PeopleCode, Application Designer, Sybase and SQL Query Tools. The Squires Group provided multiple team leads to resolve technical and functional problems during all phases of the project.
